Light Box
Experimental Space
Bridging the gap between art and science. This structure is part of the series the Artist-as-Scientist Structures that allows the artist to become a scientist in his/her own laboratory. The project seeks to shed light on and reveal the beauty of the process-led work, the behind-the-scene structures not intended to be revealed to the beholder’s eyes. The purpose of this structure is to melt wax with light in a safe environment. It has 3 peepholes to help the artist observe through them the process of melting without getting harmed as a result of the wax's explosive nature.
